TRICIA FEIST, DMD
Dr. Tricia Feist was born and raised in southern California. Her enthusiasm for teeth began early when, after the removal of her braces, she declared that she was “going to be a dentist, because I can’t imagine a better job than helping people keep their smiles.” This interest in dentistry only flourished as she learned just how vital a healthy mouth is to a person’s overall mental and physical well-being.
Her favorite part about practicing dentistry is building relationships and trust while having the opportunity to provide a caring and comfortable experience for all of her patients. From her perspective, a trip to the dentist should feel more like a catch-up visit with friends who just happen to be experts in dentistry at the same time!
Dr. Feist loves that dentistry allows lifelong learning and growth. She remains actively committed to enhancing her clinical and diagnostic skills through a strenuous course of continuing education. She is a faculty member for Spear Education, which is a prestigious group of practitioners committed to providing comprehensive, preventive treatment that is interdisciplinary and focused on providing optimal results. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin from UCLA, and a Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. In addition, she completed her general practice residency at the Denver Health Medical Center where she received advanced training in all aspects of general dentistry, emergency dentistry and management of medically-compromised patients.
She lives in the South Bay with her husband, James, and her two children, Robert (4) and Shealynn (2). In addition to trying to keep up with her very energetic children, this avid baseball, hockey and Disneyland fan enjoys watching movies, playing games, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
